Sometimes a refresh makes things exciting again.

That’s what North American Properties did with Avenue East Cobb in Marietta.

PGIM Real Estate, the asset management arm of life insurance company Prudential Financial, bought the shopping center in 2006. Then years later it partnered with NAP to refresh the place so it attracts more of the new residents that have moved back to the suburbs to raise children. The key was giving the center more of an urban feel in the suburbs.
