Outside of work Adam has a passion for cars and track driving, skiing, exploring the best chefs and restaurants in the Southeast, and spending time with his family. Adam and his wife Genevieve have two sons and live in the Chantilly neighborhood of Charlotte.
Most impactful thing to happen in retail over the last decade?
The push and pull of in-store experience vs. retail as logistics. In only the past few years we have seen the rise of online shopping, the purported death of physical retail and now the surge of new-to-market concepts and growth of DTC brands opening brick and mortar concepts. We are still in the early stages of how this will play out and stabilize but it is clear to see that customers still crave an authentic in-store experience.
